I’m a Screenwriter and Story Producer with over sixteen years of industry experience. In addition to being the screenwriter for Murder Made Easy, I’ve worked on shows such as Extreme Makeover: Home Edition for ABC, Big Brother for CBS, God Or The Girl for A&E, Big Medicine for TLC and Boston’s Finest for TNT. I’ve also been able to combine my career with my love of professional wrestling working for the as a producer for Tough Enough hosted by Stone Cold Steve Austin and Legends’ House. I’ve also worked as a digital producer for Lucha Underground and as a writer for the Cults podcast on the Parcast Network.
The scripts I write are high concept stories told through an intimate character-driven lens often people who created secret lives and how those secrets effect them. Legitimate inquiries welcome at handsometimmyd@outlook.com.
During my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the very best talents and professionals in the TV business. Within these pages, I will be posting interviews with many of those folks whose work is sometimes too often overlooked by people who may not understand that it takes not a village, but a city, to create a show.
The purpose of this blog and podcast is to create an archive of first hand knowledge and experience from myself and numerous other creative professionals. Hopefully the thoughts recorded here will be a positive contribution to other creative souls out there who are also fighting the good fight to share their stories with the world. It’s a hyper competitive business but we’re all in it together.
When not writing, I spend way too much time watching Doctor Who (old & new), reading and researching, and don’t try to keep me away from old movies. My all-time favorites are Jaws and Casablanca. It’s hard to argue those picks, isn’t it? To answer everyone’s first question, I earned the nickname “Handsome Timmy D” from my various adventures in the world of professional wrestling. We all have a past, people. But it’s important to look to the future. After all, the best days are ahead.
